NOVEMBER 2007

In conjunction with Kingston Council Real Runners organise their first event. 600 children raced their hearts out over 600 and 1200 metres with Mo Farah, Mike Skinner, Scott Overall, Mark Warmby all cheering and motivating them from the sidelines.

Mo Farah races to 6th place at the World Championships 5000 metres.

15th Peter Riley impressively wins AAA 5km title

13th Mo Farah wins silver medal at EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP 5000 metres

SEPTEMBER 2006

1st Massive break through for Farah as he runs 7:38.15 (3000m) to finish 3rd in Zagreb

10th Kevin Quinn has a bash at a half as a hard training run, finishing 5th in the EXPERIAN ROBIN HOOD HALF MARATHON, 2nd Brit in 69.12

16th Kevin and Pete race in CorriRoma INTERNATIONAL race in ITALY, Rome. Baldini (Olympic Champion) 1st, Pete finished 3rd, Kevin places 10th

OCTOBER 2006

1st Mo Great North Road Mile and claims victory

1st Great North Run – impressive results for Real Runners athletes
Pete places 7th in Great North Run in 64.09 and is the first Brit home. Kevin, despite injury, runs 72.57

8th Andy Vernon returning back to excellent form by placing 2nd in NIKE 10KM in 30.17

NOVEMBER 2006

11th Kevin wins Hilly Leatherhead 10km Fire Station race (6.60 mile flat equivalent) in 30.44

18th Pete gains selection for Great Britain in Ekiden Relays, Japan – UPDATE – Pete runs 30.07 for his 10km leg

24th Kevin wins Hyde Park Last Friday of The Month 5km in 15.35

25th FIVE Real Runners qualify for European Cross Country Championships in Italy
